Molybdenum Heat Shield

Refractory metals have a high melting point, low vapor pressure, low coefficient of thermal expansion, excellent high temperature strength and creep resistance. Through alloying, their processing properties and high temperature performances are further improved, and the service life of products is extended. Therefore, tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum and niobium metals are widely used in all kinds of high temperature furnaces as structural materials, heating body and insulation layer.

利用具有相同间距的多层钼片组成隔热屏，为蓝宝石单晶体的生长提供均匀稳定的温度场。最内层可以采用钨片，以延长隔热屏寿命。

Application:

Multilayer molybdenum sheets with the same spacing are used to form a heat insulation screen to provide a uniform and stable temperature field for the growth of sapphire single crystals. Tungsten sheet can be used for the innermost layer to prolong the service life of the heat shield.
